Ok, so why does it matter that this is going to be an, “All-European final”? The whole time during today’s game the announcers kept saying this, and it’s currently on ESPN’s front page. In what way is this significant? I could understand if it was “the first all-European final in 200 years!” or something, but last time around it was France and Italy. What’s the deal? Maybe the fact that I’m not from Europe is keeping me from understanding this.
